Highlights

Amrit Ayurdham is affiliated with VYASA, a mother organization of SVYASA, and provides 3 months Yoga Instructor Course (YIC). Yoga Instructor Course is a three month course that will be conducted by Amrit Ayurdham in affiliation with VYASA. The primary objective of the course is to transform yoga knowledge to individuals so that they are able to teach yoga with confidence and in a holistic manner.

The course is combination of theory and practical subjects like Breathing techniques, Asana, Sat Kriyas, Pranayama, and Meditation techniques. The course includes Yogic Games which improves concentration, memory, dexterity, stamina, awareness and Happy Assembly program which takes one closer to true nature, happiness and bliss.

 

On the completion of this course, the students will be able to teach yoga to the general public and to the ones having health related complain. The course will teach the holistic way to prevent diseases, promote positive health and bring harmony and peace in the society.

Eligibility

To be eligible for admission into the course, the students should have passed 12th standard (II PUC/ +2/12 years of education) with basic knowledge of English. (Course will be in English only)

  • The Yoga Instructors course fee for Indians is Rs.15,000/- (Fees includes Course materials)

  • To join the course one needs to submit two passport size photographs, copy of II PUC / +2 / 12 years of board certificate or higher education certificate along with application form.

Navarakizhi

Experience the royal treatment where warm medicated oil is poured over your body. This therapy is effective for hemiplegia, paralysis, neuromuscular weakness, and rejuvenation. It combines oleation and sudation for comprehensive healing.

Pizhichil (Dharashek)

A special head treatment where medicated oil or herbal paste is applied and left for a specified time. It is effective for hair loss, strengthening hair, dandruff, insomnia, vertigo, and sinusitis.

Thalapothichil (Shiropichu)

A deep, dry massage using medicinal powders to stimulate hair follicles, reduce subcutaneous fat, and act as a skin scrub. It lowers blood cholesterol, obesity, and strengthens muscles, making it an effective part of an overall fitness routine.

Udwartana

A deep medicinal powder massage mixed with ailment-specific oils. It helps remove subcutaneous fat, opens skin pores, reduces acne, rashes, and sun tan, and serves as a beautification treatment.

Ulsadana

Warm herbal oil is gently poured on the forehead, combined with a head massage. Shirodhara revitalizes the mind and body, relieving stress, preventing aging, and improving memory and circulation.

Shirodhara

An Ayurvedic eye treatment using medicated ghee retained in a tank over the eyes. It relieves eyestrain, improves eyesight, nourishes the optic nerve, and alleviates burning sensations.

Tarpana

Medicated oil is applied over the head using a special technique, combined with neck, shoulder, and foot massages. This treatment relieves stress, chronic headaches, insomnia, anxiety, and depression while promoting hair growth and health.

Shiro-abhyanga

Medicated oil is retained over the lower back with a specially designed yantra. This treatment strengthens and relieves pain and stiffness in the lower back, addressing sciatic pain, lumbar spondylitis, and herniated discs.

Kati Vasti

Medicated oil is retained over the knee joint to strengthen and relieve pain and stiffness. It promotes knee joint health, improves circulation, and addresses osteoarthritis and bone degeneration.

Janu Vasti (Knee Care)

A specialized treatment for neck and cervical pain, using medicated oil retained in a tank over the cervical region. It is beneficial for office workers and those with frequent neck pain.

Greeva Vasti (Cervical Care)

An Ayurvedic facial treatment using medicinal paste to address wrinkles, pimples, dark circles, and acne. It softens the skin, removes excess oil, improves circulation, and enhances skin fairness.

Mukha Lepana

A highly beneficial treatment for the brain and nervous system, where medicated oil is retained on the scalp for a specific period. It prevents degenerative changes in the brain and sense organs due to stroke and head injuries.

Dr Muruli Naik P
BAMS, Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education

Dr. Muruli Naik P. is a dedicated Ayurveda medical practitioner with 10 years of experience and certifications in dietetics and yoga therapy. He began his career as a Senior Research Fellow at FRLHT-IAIM, Bengaluru, presenting three research articles in the International Journal of Ethno-Pharmacology from 2008 to 2011.

 

His international exposure includes establishing the first authentic Ayurveda center in Hangzhou, China, and supporting the setup of additional centers in Shanghai, Beijing, and Huangshan. As the first Ayurveda doctor in China at AVAIDA Therapy Lounge-Yoga Summit, he introduced traditional Ayurveda treatments and Panchakarma therapies.

 

He has collaborated with the Indian embassy to promote Ayurveda and Yoga, participated in various media engagements, and taught at the China Yoga Teachers’ Certificate Course. Dr. Naik has now founded AMRIT AYURDHAM, a holistic Ayurveda and yoga center in Bangalore.

Dr Ashwini V Konnur
BAMS, Certificate in Food and Nutrition

Dr. Ashwini V. Konnur is a dedicated Ayurveda doctor with 11 years of experience in Ayurveda, therapeutic yoga, and pregnancy yoga. She began her career as a Senior Research Fellow at FRLHT-IAIM, where she conducted extensive literary research on diabetes, developed research projects, and established guidelines for writing research articles.

 

Dr. Konnur has taught students in Panchakarma therapy and, in 2013, provided Ayurveda consultations and taught women's healthcare and pregnancy yoga in China. A passionate writer, she has contributed numerous articles on Ayurveda and yoga to Amruth magazine, local publications, Outlook.com, and Ayuruniverse.com.

 

She has also trained rural women in home remedies and personal hygiene and holds a nutrition certification from IGNOU. Additionally, she is a Reiki practitioner and Pranic Healer, committed to holistic healing, and is proficient in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
